The Tinguinha BJJ Academy has the pleasure to announce it's 5th In House Tournament, taking place at The Tinguinha BJJ Academy, Saturday- May 21st. It will be a Gi/Kimono Tournament and it will be open to ALL rank levels. We are glad to welcome everyone to this TBJJ event. This would be a great opportunity for students to get competition experience in a friendly enviroment and without the pressure of a big tournament's setting.

Tournament Rules:
- Bent knee locks, bicep locks, heel hooks, cervical locks, scissor takedowns and slamming WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. Competitors will be disqualified if any of those techniques are used.
- Guillotine, neck cranks or any type of foot locks WILL NOT BE PERMITTED in the kids division.
- Leg locks or toe holds WILL NOT BE PERMITTED in the white, blue and purple belts divisions. Only straight foot locks are permitted.
- All competitors must wear a clean Gi.
- Male competitors are not allowed to wear T-shirts, rashguards and etc... underneath the Gi/Kimono, wrestling shoes and head gears WILL NOT BE PERMITTED as well. (rashguards are only allowed for women)
- Competitors should arrive 30 min. prior to their match.
- This will be a single elimination tournament
- The referees will reserve the right to stop a submission of any kind if the competitor is in danger; specially in the kids division; we intend to make sure all competitors are safe, it is always better to stop early than too late.
